Crazy

I was looking around the newest artworks here on DA and this piece just jumped out at me with it's expressiveness. It's a great photo to take an idea from, firstly.

I just love the way his eye &#039<img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Wink/Razz" />ops' out and some of teeth are skew - just adding to it's character. Around his eyes you drew fantastically well, with the wrinkles and the scrunched up eye and the other bigger one. The details are great really, the tiny wrinkles just adds to the overall effect.

I just feel that the level of detail just decreases a tad the further down you go with this piece, perhaps you did that with purpose to put all the focus on the top part of his face? I think maybe his facial hair could be improved just a tiny bit, it seems a bit roughly done. Maybe just add more tiny hairs on the left side, its a bit uneven with the other side.

But all in all a very emotive piece that says a lot with one look. Oh, and welcome to deviantART!
